What is Query Finder Pro ?

Professional Tool to Manage Your GREP Queries, Including Search and Replace Queries, Update or Save them, Backup and Restore or Import / Export Queries and Much More!

How to Use ?

1-You Can Navigate GREP Queries using [Next] or [Previous] Buttons without rebuilding the List again!, use [Deselect] to deselect any Queries and [Select All] to select all Queries

2-Use[Update/Save As/Rename/Delete/Delete All/Refresh/

Backup/Restore/Import/Export] features available to the Added grep queries Saved into InDesign.

3-Selecting query from the list will make it appear automatically in InDesign Find-Change dialog.

4-Using [Update] means overwrite the selected query from the list or use [Save as] with new name.

5-You can delete multiple selected queries but rename only selected one.

6-Use [F/C Dialog] to show or hide InDesign Find-Change dialog, Note that when selecting query it will appear there.

7-Use [Grep Folder] to show InDesign GREP Queries Folder.

8-Using [Install Script] and [Remove Script] buttons will add or remove [Query Finder Pro] in Edit Menu After [Find/Change...] for Easy Access to the Script.

Note: (Installed Query Finder Pro Edit Menu Item) will be removed automatically after quitting indesign if you didnt use [Remove Script] button.

if you encounter troubles removing Installed Script just delete the InDesign preferences as soon as InDesign starts to boot, Do One of this :

PC : hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl

Mac : hold down Shift, Alt,Cmd

A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

9-Using [Generate Report] will generate complete text report for Selected Queries Including (Query Name and Find What, Change to).

10-Use (Ctrl) on Windows or (Cmd) on Mac for Multiple Selection for Operation Like [Backup], [Delete], [Export], [Generate Report].
